We extend our sincere congratulations to Tvisha Chandupatla for her remarkable achievement in receiving the Most Outstanding Exhibit in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (YSEA Science Fair Award) from the Yale Science and Engineering Association. She received this recognition for her exceptional research paper titled “The Behavior of Histone Modifications in Gene Expression and Epigenetics,” which she developed during her time at CCIR.
Tvisha Chandupatla is a talented high school student with an unwavering passion for the sciences. Prior to CCIR, she participated in several competitions, including the NJ Brain Bee contest at Princeton University, the USA Biology Olympiad, and the British Biology Challenge, where she achieved the Bronze Award. She published two research papers, titled “Captivating CAR-T Cancer Treatment” and “Colorectal Cancer,” with one of them being published in the Youth STEM Journal.
The Yale Science & Engineering Association (YSEA) is the Yale University alumni organization focused on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Founded in 1914 as the Yale Engineering Association, YSEA is one of the oldest university alumni organizations in the world.
