At CCIR, we are trying to make our professor-led research mentorship opportunities accessible to as many talented students as possible.
Since CCIR Academy’s inception, we have ensured that the CCIR Merit Scholarship will be automatically considered for every applicant without a separate application process. The CCIR Merit Scholarship allows the majority of the admitted students to receive a small grant that correlates to their academic position in the admissions pool. In Spring round of 2023, about 45% of admitted students received some level of the merit scholarship.
On top of that, we have been using the remainder of our scholarship pool to provide need-aware Financial Aid to students from around the world under a certain household income threshold.
However, sometimes we regret to see that many strong applicants – after spending countless hours preparing their applications, attending interviews, anxiously awaiting for the admission decisions – have to forgo this opportunity due to financial constraints.
Starting in Spring 2025, we are happy to announce that we are taking a big step in making our valuable research opportunities more accessible. Everyone’s needs are different when it comes to paying for their tuition. By partnering with Climb Loan, CCIR now offers two flexible installment options for admitted students to complete their tuition:
Six-month Installment
Complete the tuition in six monthly installments. No interest or transaction fees.
Thirty-six-month Installment
Complete the tuition over thirty-six months with much lower monthly payment with variable interest.
Both installment options are subject to credit approval.
Please note that the borrower applying to the installment plan must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Currently, the installment plans are not available for students applying for Financial Aid.
Please note that all installment options are operated by Climb Loan and their partners, who will automatically determine eligibility, APR, and other details for each user. Some options may be subject to credit approval and additional interests set out by Climb Loan and its partnering banks.
