At CCIR Academy, Gauri is conducting a research project entitled “The Indo-Pak Partition of 1947: Tracing Memories and Impact in Small Towns.” This research project takes a novel approach compared to previous studies on the Indo-Pak Partition, which often focused on the large-scale consequences of the partition and excluded those in smaller regions. Gauri’s unique approach focuses on the memories and impact of the Indo-Pak Partition in small towns. By utilising qualitative methodology, her research project aims to gain a deeper understanding of the societal and historical effects of this significant event. This approach sheds light on the experiences and perspectives of individuals and communities in smaller towns that are often overlooked in mainstream narratives.
Gauri is an exceptional student who consistently excels in her studies at UWC Mahindra College. In addition to her academic achievements, she is passionate about making a positive impact on her community. As a founding member of Dream DAO, she has taken the initiative to empower Gen Z to explore the potential of web3 technology and utilize it to bring about significant changes in the world. Prior to that, she held a fellowship at Civics Unplugged.
In the CCIR Academy Student Spotlights, Gauri will be sharing her experiences and how research has helped shape her understanding of subjects.
