Niyati Ravi is a highly motivated Year 10 student at Dublin High School in California, USA, with a deep passion for medical science and biology. Prior to CCIR, she wrote a literature review paper on Glioblastoma, which is currently undergoing peer-review for publication.
Furthermore, Niyati has also participated in the UCI x GATI lab program, where she worked on studying the heart-brain connection during cardiac arrest. Her team developed an algorithm for detecting ECG peaks in rats with heart arrhythmias, with the goal of gaining a better understanding of patients with cardiac conditions.
At the CCIR Academy, Niyati conducted a research project titled “Relationship Between Eating Behaviour and Anxiety in Women.” This project involved focusing on three different demographic groups, namely adolescents, pregnant women, and adults in their mid-20s to early 30s. Niyata explored the causes and effects of eating behaviours and anxiety in women and provided valuable insights into the topic.
