Sissi also served as a UBC Geering Up Junior Instructor, where she assisted camp instructors with classroom management, materials preparation, and provided one-on-one support to campers aged 6 to 17, including those with special learning accommodations. She led various engineering challenges weekly.
Within the CCIR Academy, Sissi conducted a research project titled “Recent Advancements in Optogenetic Research.” Her research paper explores the latest developments in the field of optogenetics and their impact on research methodologies.
In a recent episode of CCIR Academy Student Spotlights, Sissi shared insights from her research journey while expressing gratitude for the support provided by her professor and the CCIR Academy throughout her research endeavours.
