Youjun (Fred) Han, a student at New Hyde Park Memorial High School in New York, has received recognition for his academic accomplishments.
He has been recognised with awards and honours from the National Junior Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and Tri-M Honor Society. In his in-school extracurricular activities, Fred is a team member of the Sewanhaka High School Robotics Club, where he contributed to the assembly and programming of the 2021 robot for the FTC (First Tech Challenge) competition. He is also a student researcher in the New Hyde Park Memorial High School Science Research, participating in annual research competitions such as the Northwell Health Medical Marvel Competition.
Fred’s research paper, titled “Implementation of Hardware Intrusion Detection Algorithm for Bluetooth Networks,” has been accepted at the ICSC 2023: The Third Intelligent Cybersecurity Conference. The conference, supported by entities such as IEEE, IEEE TEMS, IEEE Systems Council, and Texas A&M University, San Antonio, focuses on the challenges, methodologies, and prospective avenues shaping the future of cybersecurity.
