High School Student Researcher Aleeza on Teacher Burnout and Job Satisfaction Rates

Aleeza Dhillon, a student at Valley Stream North High School in the USA, has always been passionate about research. At the same time, she has enrolled in a three-year Science Research Program through SUNY Albany University. She has written a review paper on the successes and failures of clinical trials involving the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease, which is on its way to being published. In addition, Aleeza has the opportunity to present her research paper at a Science Symposium within her high school district.

In the CCIR Academy, Aleeza conducted a research project titled “How do the Big-5 Personality Traits affect teacher burnout and job satisfaction rates?”. The research aims to examine how the Big-5 Personality Traits (openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism) influence the well-being and job satisfaction of teachers, offering insights into the psychological factors contributing to or mitigating teacher burnout and satisfaction in the educational context.

Aleeza’s recent appearance on CCIR Academy Student Spotlights highlighted her commitment to research, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from her professor and the CCIR Academy.
