Charles Liu, a former student of The Episcopal School of Dallas in the USA, attended summer courses at Yale University, Columbia University in New York, and New York University, focusing on psychology and film & television. He gained experience through a Psychology Internship at McGarrahan & Associates, analysing evaluation data for research purposes, and is a member of the American Psychological Association.
In community service, Charles volunteers with the EnGin Volunteer Program, tutoring a Ukrainian teenager online and contributing to disaster relief efforts through the Missing Maps initiative.
His research paper, “The Relationship of Diversity and Social Support for Asian American University Students,” has been accepted for presentation at the British Sociological Association (BSA) Annual Conference 2024 in the ‘Race, Ethnicity, and Migration’ panel. The BSA is the primary collective for sociologists in the UK, fostering the advancement of sociology through academic publications and prestigious conferences.
