High School Student Researcher Kara's Paper On In Silico Multi Objective Optimisation Of Palladium Catalysed Reactions Accepted At The National Conference On Undergraduate Research (ncur)

Kara Lee, a student at Stanford Online High School in the USA, qualified for the 2022 USGA Women’s Amateur Four-Ball held in Washington, showcasing her skill in golf. Reflecting on her experiences, Kara draws parallels between golf and science, understanding that both reward unconventional approaches. She has learned from the evolution of science to question the status quo, applying this mindset to her approach to challenges and null results. Kara’s determination and creativity enable her to persistently find solutions from different angles.

Her research paper titled “In-silico Multi-Objective Optimisation of Palladium Catalysed Reactions” has been accepted at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) 2024. NCUR provides a distinctive platform for acknowledging and advocating undergraduate student accomplishments, showcasing exemplary research, scholarship, and creative work, and fostering the development of career readiness skills among students.

Congratulations to Kara on this significant achievement!
