High School Student Researcher Rakshit’s Paper On Rationality Behind Partaking In Losing Actions Has Been Accepted For Presentation At The ERPBSS In Dubai

Rakshit Marwah, a student at Deira International School in the UAE, discovered his passion for finance through his experience as a finalist in a prestigious stock pitch competition by FundamentalWealth. Competing against more experienced participants, he presented his pitch on Ferrari NV to experts affiliated with the Big 4. In addition, he co-founded the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp club at his school, aiming to foster innovation and risk-taking among KS3 students.

Rakshit also gained hands-on corporate experience through summer internships at Al-Futtaim, working in the Tax Department and then in Procurement. These roles provided him with valuable insights and skills he hopes to apply in his future career.

Rakshit’s research paper, Playing the Odds: A Deeper Understanding of the Rationality Behind Partaking in Losing Actions, has been accepted for presentation at the Emerging Research Paradigms in Business and Social Sciences (ERPBSS 2024) in Dubai. Organised by Middlesex University Dubai, this hybrid event gathers global academics, policymakers, and industry leaders.

Congratulations to Rakshit on this achievement!
