High School Student Researcher Atharva on Advances in Cell-Based Therapies for Cancer

Atharva Tyagi, a Year 9 student at Woodbridge Academy Magnet School in New Jersey, has demonstrated his dedication to STEM education and research. He participated and won 2nd place in the MCASB Science Bowl Competition, which covered topics ranging from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geology. Fueling his passion for STEM, Atharva has attended courses that have further expanded his knowledge. These courses include “Introduction to Genetics and Evolution” from Duke University, “Drug Discovery” from the University of California, and “Technology Entrepreneurship” from Harvard LabX.

At CCIR Academy, Atharva embarked on a research project titled “Advances in Cell-Based Therapies for Cancer.” This project allowed him to delve into the innovative field of cell-based therapies and explore their potential in cancer treatment.
