CCIR offers online research programmes that carry recognised academic credits. These programmes are designed for ambitious high school students who want to strengthen their academic profiles. In particular, the credits can help students demonstrate intellectual maturity when applying to universities such as those in the Ivy League and Oxbridge. However, each university decides whether to accept or transfer the credits.
CCIR students can now receive 10 UK government-recognised undergraduate credits — equivalent to 5 European Union credits and 2.5 U.S. college credits — upon completion of CCIR’s 1-on-1 Research Mentorship or Cambridge Future Scholar Research Programme — with no additional cost.

Students can present their CCIR credits as college-level coursework in university applications. However, international credits may require an independent course-by-course evaluation by a recognised credential evaluation service. This evaluation can help universities understand the U.S. credit equivalency. Each university retains the final decision on whether to accept the credits.
Canada
Credits may be reviewed through Canadian credential evaluation services, where relevant for academic or immigration purposes; however, their recognition and acceptance remain subject to each institution’s own policies and final determination.
United Kingdom and Europe
CCIR’s credits are issued within a UK government-regulated framework and mapped to ECTS. As a result, they are designed to be understood across UK and European higher education systems. Students can submit their official CCIR academic record as evidence of undergraduate-level research coursework. However, each institution decides whether to recognise the credits.
What the Credits Mean
These academic credits reflect CCIR’s teaching standards, assessment methods, and commitment to developing future scholars. They align with the UK credit framework and connect to ECTS (the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). As a result, they provide a transparent measure of students’ academic achievement. They also help institutions assess coursework completed across different education systems.
A Head Start to University Success: CCIR credits are set at Level 4, comparable in depth and academic rigour to first-year university study. In their university applications, students can showcase the CCIR research experience as a key achievement, particularly when applying to top universities, to demonstrate their intellectual maturity.

Recognition Across Borders: Students may present their credits to universities, admissions offices, and credential evaluators worldwide. In addition, they can provide supporting academic records to explain the coursework completed. However, recognition and credit-transfer decisions remain subject to each institution’s policies and final approval.
Dedicated Support for Every Student: CCIR’s Academics Team can provide additional documentation when needed. For example, students may request transcripts, certificates, syllabi, and other supporting materials for universities or credential evaluators.
To receive college credits, students must submit a registration form through CCIR within three weeks of the programme start date. CCIR then submits the registration to the awarding body. The registration fee is included in CCIR tuition, so students do not pay an additional fee for this process.

CCIR students will now graduate with a rigorous research project, a formal transcript, and globally recognised university credits backed by the UK’s quality-assurance system.
CCIR coursework can be presented on applications such as the Common App, UCAS, and other university application systems, demonstrating not only advanced research experience but UK-accredited, college-level academic achievement.
