High School Student Researcher Siddharth's Feasibility Of Human Germline Genetic Editing Was Accepted At The 23rd Conference Of The International Congress Of Genetics

Siddharth Manne, a Year 11 student at Sreenidhi International School in India, stands out for his academic achievements. He has been awarded the MYP scholarship, achieving an outstanding score of 53/56 on the MYP board exams (IB). This achievement distinguishes him as the top scorer ever recorded at Sreenidhi International School.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Siddharth has collaborated with the Times of India to co-author a book, a joint effort between Sreenidhian and TOI’s journalists. This book sheds light on India’s role in global development.

We are delighted to announce that Siddharth’s research paper, titled “Feasibility of Human Germline Genetic Editing using CRISPR/Cas9,” has been accepted at the 23rd Conference of the International Congress of Genetics. The event included an extensive poster presentation, an exhibition of cutting-edge products and services, and opportunities for networking and collaboration. Invited speakers, representing prestigious universities such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Sydney, and the Max Planck Institute for Biology Tübingen, contributed to the rich discussions. Host organisers included the Australasian Genomic Technologies Association and The Genetics Society of Australasia.

Congratulations to Siddharth on this remarkable achievement!
