High School Student Researcher Amans Paper On Bright X Ray Pulsars Has Been Accepted And Published In The Monthly Notices Of The Royal Astronomical Society

Aman Asthana, a student at Coppell High School in the USA, has received the Vibha Youth Scholar Award for his outstanding achievements.

In academic activities, Aman is actively involved in the Coppell High School Technology Student Association. He led a team in a video game design competition, utilising his STEM expertise. Aman delegated tasks based on team members’ strengths, oversaw project design and construction, and motivated the team to overcome challenges. He also participated in the Coppell High School Math Olympiad as an integral member of the Regional Championship-winning team.

Engaging in community activities, Aman volunteers and mentors at Vibha Dallas, teaching Math and English to Bhutanese refugee children. Additionally, Aman contributes to food donation efforts in Dallas, categorising, packing, and delivering donations to local food banks.

We are delighted to announce that Aman’s research paper, titled “Bright X-ray Pulsars as Sources of MeV Neutrinos in the Sky,” has been accepted and published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. This journal, affiliated with the Royal Astronomical Society and published by Oxford Press, is a premier primary research journal in astronomy and astrophysics.
