High School Student Researcher Sarah’s Cardiac Tissue Engineering Was Accepted At The Biotechnology Research Incubator For Teachers And Students (BRITE)

 

Sarah Haji is a student at The Awty International School in Houston, Texas. She is a member of the Science National Honor Society, National French Honor Society, and National Honor Society. She serves as Vice President of the Medical Club, which provides students interested in pre-med with opportunities such as physician-led career talks, CPR training, case study reviews, dissections, suturing workshops, and volunteer work.



Sarah’s research paper, Cardiac Tissue Engineering, was accepted and presented at the BRITE Symposium in Texas, organised by Baylor College of Medicine. The symposium introduced students to scientific conferences, biotechnology advancements, and research presentation skills, offering an opportunity to engage with current developments in medical science.
