Aaditya Mirkar is a student at Yeshwantrao Chavan College in India. He has a strong interest in astrophysics, particularly black holes, dark energy, matter and antimatter, and the broader questions surrounding the origins and structure of the universe. His interest has led him to pursue independent learning, including an online course taught by Nobel Laureate Professor Brian Schmidt, through which he explored topics such as gamma-ray bursts, dark energy, matter and antimatter, and rotating and non-rotating black holes.
At the CCIR Academy, Aaditya’s research paper, Optimizing Heat Pipes and Electronics Cooling with Microfluidics and Nanofluids for Spacecraft Applications, has been accepted at the 14th Asia Conference on Mechanical and Materials Engineering (ACMME). His research explores the use of microfluidics and nanofluids to improve heat pipes and electronics cooling systems for spacecraft, addressing the thermal management challenges associated with high-performance systems operating in space.
The 14th Asia Conference on Mechanical and Materials Engineering (ACMME) was held in Osaka, Japan, bringing together researchers and professionals from more than 20 countries to share advances in mechanical and materials engineering through keynote lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions. The conference was sponsored and supported by institutions including the University of Warwick and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Congratulations to Aaditya on this achievement!
