Are you a high school student hoping to make a positive impact on your community?
The CCIR Youth Impact Fund helps young people turn their ideas into community projects. Selected students become CCIR Youth Impact Fellows. They receive funding, resources, and mentoring support to bring their plans to life.
Fellows also join the wider CCIR Alumni network. Through this community, they can connect with other talented young people and continue learning from their peers.
What Does the CCIR Youth Impact Fund Offer?
Do you have a plan to make a difference in your community? CCIR welcomes applications from current high school students who want to start a project.
Each selected project receives £200–£500. Fellows can also access staff support, mentoring, and other resources. Support lasts for one year from the date of confirmation.
Toward the end of the fellowship, CCIR invites Fellows to a colloquium. There, they can discuss their projects and share their experiences. CCIR may also feature their work on its podcast platform.
The benefits extend beyond the fellowship year. Fellows can remain connected to a network of passionate young changemakers. This network can offer guidance and support as they continue their projects.
What Projects Can You Submit?
The fund welcomes a wide range of project ideas. The main requirement is that each project must have a positive impact on others.
For example, you could organise a hackathon, robotics tournament, or policython. You might also create a local mentoring programme, host a poetry slam, or organise a Model United Nations (MUN) conference.
These examples are only a starting point. CCIR wants young people to develop their own ideas, raise awareness, encourage dialogue, and bring communities together.
Have a vision for positive change? The CCIR Youth Impact Fund aims to help you make it happen.
