Eden Riebling is a student at Horace Mann School in the Bronx, USA. She joined the Civic Fellowship at NextGen Politics. There, she worked with students from across the country. Together, they explored civil society, critical thinking, and empathy.
Eden also founded Montessori Mentors. She serves as its CEO. This youth-led initiative supports minoritised students through mentoring. Its approach draws on Montessori principles and social and emotional learning.
Eden’s research paper, Satiety and Empathy: The Moral Psychology of autar epei posios kai edêtuos ex eron hento, was accepted at the Joint Annual Meeting of the American Archaeological Association and the Society for Classical Studies.
Her research explores the links between moral psychology and classical literature. It also contributes to wider discussions in ancient history and classical studies.
