Aadya Goel is a student at Vellore Institute of Technology in India. She has worked on a range of academic and extracurricular projects, including research with a faculty member from the National University of Singapore on using deep learning to detect stock market manipulation, which is currently under peer review. Aadya is also the co-founder of Saathi Care, a startup focused on improving at-home eldercare in Pune, and has led a UI/UX design workshop at her university attended by over 50 students.
Aadya’s research paper, Epilepsy Seizure Detection based on EEG Signals using Machine Learning, has been accepted for presentation at the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent and Innovative Technologies in Computing, Electrical and Electronics (ICIITCEE 2025). The conference was hosted by the BNM Institute of Technology and sponsored by IEEE.
The research focuses on using machine learning to detect epileptic seizures from electroencephalography (EEG) signals, contributing to the development of technology that could support more efficient seizure detection.
