Sabrina Cui is a student at Alexander Mackenzie High School in Canada. She has been actively involved in Model United Nations, receiving an Honourable Mention in the UN Women committee at the Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute MUN, participating in CANMUN’s Ambassador Programme, and attending OxfordMUN. Sabrina also serves as Ambassador Programme Director for Bridge of Culture and has taken part in the STEMPowerment Mentee and Mentor Programme as well as the ResearcHER Sponsorship Programme.
At the CCIR Academy, Sabrina’s research paper, International Brick Wall: Encompasses the United Nations Architecture Throughout War Fares, has been accepted at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). Her paper examines the structure and function of the United Nations during times of conflict, analysing how its institutional framework responds to warfare and the extent to which its strategies are effective in practice.
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) provides a platform for recognising and supporting undergraduate research across disciplines. The conference highlights scholarly and creative work while encouraging students to develop their academic and professional skills through presenting and engaging with research.
