High School Student Researcher Aaditya Mirkar’s Research on Microfluidics and Nanofluids for Spacecraft Cooling was accepted at the Annual International Conference on Materials Science and Nanoscience (AICMSN)

International Conference on Materials Science and Nanoscience 2025

Aaditya Mirkar is a student at Yeshwantrao Chavan College in India. His interest in astrophysics has grown through independent learning and online courses with leading experts. He has explored topics such as gamma-ray bursts, dark energy, matter and antimatter, and black holes. Additionally, preparing for Olympiads has helped him strengthen his knowledge of physics and astronomy.

Aaditya’s research paper, Optimising Heat Pipes and Electronics Cooling with Microfluidics and Nanofluids for Spacecraft Applications, has been accepted at the Annual International Conference on Materials Science and Nanoscience (AICMSN).

His study explores new approaches to spacecraft cooling. In particular, Aaditya examines electrowetting heat pipes and nanofluids as potential thermal management solutions. These methods could help address challenges involving weight, size, and environmental constraints. As a result, the research contributes to the discussion of more efficient cooling methods for spacecraft.

The Annual International Conference on Materials Science and Nanoscience (AICMSN) brings together researchers, scholars, and industry professionals. At the conference, participants share developments in materials science, nanotechnology, and energy systems. They also explore how these fields can work together to address complex challenges.

Congratulations to Aaditya on this achievement!
