Rohan Choudhary was a student at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna in India when he joined CCIR. He has been recognised as an International Finalist by the American University in Cairo’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, a Finalist in the Ernst & Young Scholarship Programme, and a finalist for the UNICEF and UNDP India Young Scholar Award for Sustainability Research. He also participated in the Election Commission of India’s Electhon, contributing to the development of technological and social interventions aimed at strengthening India’s electoral processes.
At the CCIR Academy, Rohan’s research paper, Evolving Extremes: Projections of Heatwave Characteristics in Pre-Monsoon India, has been accepted at the 7th International Conference on Advanced Research Methods and Analytics (CARMA 2025), held at Roma Tre University in Italy. His research examines projected changes in heatwave characteristics during the pre-monsoon period in India, contributing to a better understanding of how extreme heat may evolve under changing climate conditions.
CARMA is an international forum dedicated to exploring advanced analytical methods and the use of Internet and Big Data in economics and the social sciences. The conference brings together researchers and professionals to share developments in analytical approaches and their applications across different fields.
