High School Student Researcher Aaditya Mirkar’s Research on Microfluidics and Nanofluids for Spacecraft Cooling was accepted at the Annual International Conference on Materials Science and Nanoscience (AICMSN)

Aaditya Mirkar is a student at Yeshwantrao Chavan College in India. He has pursued his interest in astrophysics through independent learning, including online courses with leading experts, and has engaged deeply with topics such as gamma-ray bursts, dark energy, matter and antimatter, and black holes. He has also taken part in Olympiad preparations, further strengthening his understanding of physics and astronomy.

Aaditya’s research paper, Optimising Heat Pipes and Electronics Cooling with Microfluidics and Nanofluids for Spacecraft Applications, has been accepted at the Annual International Conference on Materials Science and Nanoscience (AICMSN). His research explores advanced methods for thermal management in spacecraft, focusing on electrowetting heat pipes and nanofluids as potential solutions to challenges related to weight, size, and environmental constraints.
