Alexander Hulianskyi, a student from Ukraine, has achieved success in a wide range of academic competitions. He has earned recognition in the Taras Shevchenko International Competition, the Geography and History Olympiads, and the Pyotr Yatsyk International Competition. He also participated in the social project Kat and the Radio Olympiad in Physics. More recently, he has advanced in the Geography Olympiad and the State Economics Olympiad, and won the regional stage of the Economics Olympiad, with the national stage ahead.
Alexander’s research paper, The Evolution of Global Gold and Copper Trade Networks, has been accepted at the Northeast Regional Conference on Complex Systems (NERCCS). His research examines the development and structure of global trade networks for gold and copper, exploring how these interconnected systems have evolved over time.
Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the Complex Systems Society US Northeast Chapter, and several university centres and labs, NERCCS is a forum that highlights advances in complex systems science while fostering collaboration and supporting the growth of young researchers.
