Vihaan Mishra is a student at Los Altos High School in the United States. He takes part in community emergency preparedness activities. He serves as Head of Emergency Communication and works as a Disaster Service Worker with TeenCERT.
In addition, Vihaan serves as Vice Chair of the Los Altos Hills Youth Commission. He also holds the role of Operations and Design Commissioner in his school’s student government.
At CCIR Academy, Vihaan developed a research paper titled HybridEnhancementNet: A Novel Deep Learning Architecture for Low-Light Image Enhancement through Model Fusion. The paper was accepted at the International Forum on Research Excellence (IFoRE).
His research focuses on improving low-light images with deep learning. Specifically, he developed an architecture that combines elements of existing models. This approach aims to improve image quality. It may also have applications in computer vision and autonomous systems.
The International Forum on Research Excellence (IFoRE) is powered by Sigma Xi, a research society founded at Cornell University. The forum brings together scientists, engineers, and researchers from different fields. It gives them an opportunity to share their work and exchange ideas. Additionally, IFoRE promotes scientific integrity and collaboration across disciplines.
Congratulations to Vihaan on this achievement!
