High School Student Researcher Ashvik Raina’s Research on Machine Learning and Emotion Detection was accepted at the 28th SPA Conference

SPA 2025 | Signal Processing: Algorithms, Architectures, Arrangements and Applications

Ashvik Raina is a student at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, United States. He has pursued extensive work in artificial intelligence through programmes such as the Harvard Ventures Tech Summer Programme and the Harvard AI Bootcamp, where he developed projects including an AI-powered stock value predictor. He is also the founder of 0db.ai, an initiative focused on building an AI-based support system for teenage mental health using technologies such as computer vision and natural language processing.

At the CCIR Academy, Ashvik’s research paper, Leveraging Machine Learning and Feature Extraction from Physiological Signals for Emotion Detection, has been accepted at the 28th SPA Conference (Signal Processing: Algorithms, Architectures, Arrangements, and Applications). His research explores how machine learning and feature extraction from physiological signals can be used to identify and classify emotional states.

The 28th SPA Conference serves as an international platform for presenting advances in signal processing and related fields. The conference brings together researchers and professionals to share developments in the field, with peer-reviewed contributions included in its proceedings.
