Cemil Türk is a student at Kabataş High School in Türkiye. He has received recognition across economics, philosophy, and academic writing, including winning the Harvard International Economics Essay Competition as one of three global winners. He also represented Türkiye at the International Philosophy Olympiad after placing first nationally in the Turkish Philosophy Olympiad, and has been recognised as a finalist for the Non-Trivial Fellowship. In addition, he has achieved multiple Best Delegate and Outstanding Delegate awards in Model United Nations, where he has also served in leadership roles.
At the CCIR Academy, Cemil’s research paper, Kosovo, Syria, and the Shifting Norms of Humanitarian Intervention, has been accepted at the South Carolina Political Science Association (SCPSA) Annual Conference. His research examines how international norms surrounding humanitarian intervention have evolved through the cases of Kosovo and Syria, contributing to broader discussions on international relations and political science.
