Vihaan Mishra is a student at Los Altos High School in the United States. He is involved in community emergency preparedness and serves as Head of Emergency Communication and a Disaster Service Worker with TeenCERT. He is also Vice Chair of the Los Altos Hills Youth Commission and an Operations and Design Commissioner in his school’s student government.
At the CCIR Academy, Vihaan’s research paper, HybridEnhancementNet: A Novel Deep Learning Architecture for Low-Light Image Enhancement through Model Fusion, has been accepted at the International Forum on Research Excellence (IFoRE). His research develops a deep learning architecture that combines elements of existing models to improve the quality of low-light images, with potential applications in computer vision and autonomous systems.
Powered by Sigma Xi, a research society founded at Cornell University, the International Forum on Research Excellence (IFoRE) brings together scientists, engineers, and researchers across disciplines to share research and promote scientific exchange and integrity. The forum provides an opportunity for researchers to present their work and engage with the wider scientific community.
Congratulations to Vihaan on this achievement!
