Kunwho Park is a student at Canford School in England with a strong record of achievement in mathematics. His accomplishments include a Bronze Medal in the Maclaurin Mathematical Olympiad in 2024, Gold in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge in 2024, Merit and Best in School in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 in 2023 and Gold and Best in Year in the Senior Mathematical Challenge in 2023.
Kunwho’s academic achievements reflect his strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, which he has extended into scientific research exploring antimicrobial resistance and its underlying genetic mechanisms.
Kunwho’s research paper, Fluoroquinolone Resistance in Salmonella typhi: Analysis of qnrABS Resistance Genes, was accepted for presentation at Cell Bio 2024. Jointly organised by the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) and the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), Cell Bio 2024 brings together researchers from institutions around the world to exchange developments and perspectives in cell biology. The conference includes scientists from institutions such as the National Institutes of Health, the University of Cambridge, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Berkeley.
